I have open lines under my sink. I bought a set of oil coated bronze P traps from another manufacturer which was nice but this product did not come with a pipe that goes on the wall, so I had to buy it from another manufacturer. The packaging says "oiled bronze" but it definitely doesn't look like oiled bronze. It's definitely a smooth matte black with no change in finish, just like a real buttered bronze you should see mixed colors of bronze or brass so if you are trying to pick up an oil bronze and this is important keep looking I had to go ahead and install as my plumbers here were ready but I will look for another product as the solid black finish will not work with oiled bronze, I am an architect and understand oil rubbed bronze, real oiled bronze will do for door hardware as the finish will wear away over time giving you a patina. The chimney under the sink needs to be more like a faux finish to have this look.
