I got tired of making socks with thin bamboo needles, so I took these. I changed them in the middle of the project and immediately felt the difference. Their smoothness is pleasant to the touch and makes knitting easier. But they're not so slippery that it's difficult to hold or lose stitches. And they are just beautiful, the swirling colors really make knitting more sensual and meditative. The disadvantages of these needles are the reason I changed my rating from four to two stars: 1. These needles break under stress. Do you have a strong grip? Too rude to pull your project out of your shoulder bag? Ready to work hours on a project? You can break one of them at any time. They are strong to a certain extent, but still fragile.
