Right out of the box the camera looked like a high performance product. It comes with all the elements you need for a quick and easy installation. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The only thing I couldn't find was a 32GB micro SD card. I found it later, it was already pre-installed behind the screw plate on the back of the monitor. The quality of both cameras is excellent. It's quite heavy and appears to be made out of heavy, thick metal. Image quality is also clear and colors are close to true. The transmitter is built into the camera, so all that remains is to attach the antenna and fix the camera in the right place. The monitor display can be mounted on the bracket as well as on double-sided tape. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a suction cup. I don't want to permanently mount the monitor on my car if I only use it a dozen times a year when towing my camper to and from camp. The monitor mount is for those who regularly tow a trailer, then a fixed mount is ideal. A suction cup mount would be a great option to attach the monitor only when needed. The monitor menu is quite clear and self-explanatory. It has a multilingual menu interface in 10 different languages. Recording can be disabled/enabled as required. Playback isn't the best (compared to media players) but gives you the option to replay the recording to see what happened if you missed something. P-Lines can be turned on and off at will. The downside is that I haven't found any options to set the p-line to show on screen. My other 5 inch rear camera has this feature and this feature allows you to adjust the P line to be more accurate on the road with the installation location. Overall this is a great camera with excellent quality both physically and technologically. I would rate this camera a 4.5 as it lacks some features of some other cameras.
