I live in a decent, low crime area. My complex is currently undergoing a major refurbishment which is why I left the bike on the road for a month. I'm happy to report that my bike wasn't stolen, but it's still nice to know that there is a bright yellow disc lock from a well-known company to protect your valuables. The lock is easy to attach and detach. Kryptonite has a good key replacement program in case you lose both sets. The only problem I have is that the yellow paint peels off easily where it makes contact with the rotor. Lastly, note that there are large castles and I wouldn't feel safe with that in a more sketchy area.
