Excellent quality lock. Doesn't seem cheap like most others. It is really very well made and is a durable cable. The fingerprint scanner works great and you can add 20 different people's fingerprints to the lock, say if you have a large family and the whole family needs to have access to what you lock. I haven't had any issues with the fingerprint scanner yet. My only concern is that there are no spare keys for the secondary unlock method if the scanner eventually fails. I mean, if it stops working, you have to pick the lock. I doubt it because it's well done. It's just a moment in my memory. The battery also goes into self-save mode, conserving power when not in use. It is rated for 3,000 unlocks before needing to be recharged. And it charges with a simple micro USB cable. which can be found everywhere. When using for a bike I would either attach one of the tuos portable chargers to your bike or carry it in my backpack while riding in case the battery ever runs out and you can just plug it into a small power bank and unlock it when you are in such a situation. This is a strong lock that is easy to open and remove in seconds. I always hate playing around with the key at night or when you are in a hurry trying to open the key lock. It eliminates all of that. Sometimes I park in bad spots and want to get out of there as soon as possible lest someone try to come up to me and "talk" about my bike.
