Review on Mevotech MP902972 Strut Mount Kit by Predrag Holman
Bad experience with shock absorbers, struts and suspension
I can't verify this specific part number but the rear Mevotech strut mounts for our Subaru Legacy 97 lasted 1 day (left side) and 2 days (right side). The hub broke, causing our new posts to hit the rails. Mevotech did not respond kindly to my email raising concerns that they sell dangerous defective parts. I removed their new mounts and replaced the original factory strut mounts. They'll probably last another 400,000 miles, I only replaced them because I figured I'd have to do it when I put in new struts.
