Review on Spyderco Tri Angle Sharpening Resistance Professional Grade by Mido Taylor

I bought these for edge reprofiling but found the triangles didn't work well with more expensive steels like ELMAX and M390. This is normal with softer steels. Over time I found that the abrasiveness of these triangles was greatly reduced as the cube drill was rubbed off the primer. I took great care not to apply pressure when sharpening, understanding that the bond of cubic boron nitride to the triangle is brittle at best, but even with extreme care and very careful use, the triangle will not fray when new. and that's only a few months of use. Overall I would not recommend this product, choose a flat stone from DMT because I have found diamonds work better than this and they stay on DMT products.
