Failed first time. The company contacted me after reading my review, sent a new one and solved the problem!

*Update* After I just wrote the following post, Cable Matters contacted me, helped me solve my problem and sent me a new device. I am very satisfied with their service and my new center. It works very well. The USB ports work fine, but the SD card reader keeps rebooting while the memory card is inserted. I tried several memory cards and had the same problem. I ended up replacing the product with another one and encountering the same problem. Now I use the device exclusively as a USB hub and it works fine with my old memory card readers, I just don't use this device anymore.
