Garbage. And EXACTLY why

Interestingly, the switches are very well made, except for TWO key parts that junk everything. The problem is the tiny Bakelite-like coated springs that press against the rocker arms. These micro parts are very weak, the plastic cracks and/or breaks off and now the spring is trying to ride right onto the seesaw. A few more clicks of the switch and the spring will flex and lock the switch. When things go really bad, the spring can bend to the other pole and create an arc or a complete short between poles. I bought 5 packs and *3* switches failed in about 20 cycles. I was able to take them apart and make a well working switch. The real problem, of course, is that they are completely unreliable. So unless you like replacing switches or using them in a place where they're easy to replace, this is a nightmare. My task for now will be to find the DPDT. Switch with reliable INNER. and that's a real problem now. Did I mention that by the time I started using them I was 8 days past the return window? Do yourself a favor, don't buy them, and if you do, turn them on and off about 100 times. If they work properly, you're probably fine, but I wouldn't say you'll have 100% success with them.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
