My son's turtle lived in his travel aquarium for about 4 months while I researched aquariums and everything there was to know about the pet turtle. When the aquarium arrived I was pleased to find that it had a water filter, a warming light and a cute little tree. It was very easy to put together and the size made it easy to find a safe place for it so my 3 year old wouldn't torment the poor thing lol. I will say, although I will say, that there are not enough filters in the kit, or maybe my turtle is very rough because the 4 that it came with have already passed their course. Finding filters for it was excruciating and I remember seeing something on the box that said I could contact them for more filters, but like a complete dummy I threw the box away and lost the info . It would also be great if the tank came with some form of organic water treatment as most of the processes are designed specifically for 20 gallon tanks and this tank definitely doesn't have 20 gallon tanks. Also some cleaners for the filter gizmo. That being said, until you have the 30 gallon tank that most turtles need, this is definitely a good option.
