This is a very long and narrow rug. It’s almost 6 ft long and almost a foot and a half wide, so it has a huge footprint.I tried it in my guest bathroom first and loved that it covered from the entry nearly to the tub, but I didn’t like the dark color or that it didn’t soak up water. It wasn’t slippery and was easy to wipe clean. It also stayed securely in place, but I learned I prefer an absorbent rug for bathrooms. I still would’ve kept it in the bathroom if it were a lighter color because I love the size.I found it works best in my kitchen. It is noticeably softer to stand on than my tile floor while washing dishes. I hand wash my dishes so easily stand for at least half an hour. It is very cushiony under bare feet and also when wearing shoes. My dogs also like laying on it. They think it’s a bed.My robot vacuum/mop easily rolls onto it and cleans it. Any spills can be easily wiped up with a mop or paper towel.
