I have used many 4-port hubs and several 7-port hubs. This Belkin hub is by far the best I've tried. The stackable hub is ideal for dual-use USB applications for permanent and temporary connections. The 5 ports on the back of the hub can be used for printers, mice, keyboards and more, devices that are permanently connected to your PC. The two terminals face up and are well spaced from each other and the hub frame. I find them perfect for my iPod Shuffle, USB sticks and VPN USB dongles. This hub is designed to give you 10 rear-facing ports and four vertical-facing ports. The vertical ports and stackable design are truly exemplary.
