lots of beautiful colors that i have been craving for my doll work (recoloring the faces of Monster High dolls and dolls with ball joints to give a face). NOT as good as eg Faber-Castell or Derwent - the colors are not as bright and crisp. Small annoyance: NONE of the pens have color names printed on them, so it's hard to remember which colors you used unless you specifically set them aside while working on the project. However, they sharpen beautifully and don't break, and they're good for the price (my favorite watercolor pencils and the best I've ever used, IMO, they're a Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer variety, but as extensive a set could be They easily cost over $40 or more (MUCH more). very good - a great investment for people who are just starting to use watercolor pencils in their art. A big step forward compared to kits for children. I don't regret the purchase and I use them a lot, but they aren't the best either.
