After doing some research I found this WP-BB type filter to be the best for use in my American Plumber W10-PR filter housing which is used to filter non-chlorinated water from my well to filter into the house. The price was better than any similar filter I could find, so I ordered it. Upon receipt I installed the filter and it fitted perfectly into my filter housing. After installing the filter, I re-measured the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) in my tap water and found that the reading had dropped by 30% compared to my previous filter, the S1-BB pleated cellulose filter. In the case of unchlorinated well water, the filter technologist recommends using a wound filter instead of a pleated cellulose filter. I am very satisfied and have reordered to take advantage of the great price for a great product.
