Perfect fit and easy to install on my 2007 Pontiac G6. Sounds a little different than the original starter, but still works perfectly almost 3 years later. The price was much lower than similar parts in local auto parts stores. UPDATE This starter was working fine until it suddenly broke down about a week ago. One click, they are nothing. It still worked occasionally (and no, I didn't have to hit it with an iron pipe or hammer), but it's not enough when this part literally gets your machine running. So my useful life was pretty much exactly 4 years. Not great, but for a 15 year old car with over 100,000 miles on the odometer I think it was worth the $50 it cost me.
