Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 SUV 285/60 R18 116T winter by Mateusz Weber ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

The season has ended so we might as well eat the review. The majority of the training miles were logged in urban and interstate environments, and in this peculiar winter, on wet or frozen asphalt. I need spikes since the track becomes ice as soon as I get off the highway. I was skeptical as to how well this spike would perform on bare pavement, but it has shown to be effective. Also, it has a high tolerance for asphalt ruts. The only time I've ever been in a real blizzard on the highway was when I was passing a truck with a left-hand drive through deep snow at the center divider. but the ESP was quiet, and everything worked out fine in the end. Full or rubber Hong Konganent? After that, I also encountered snow porridge of uniform consistency; this was not an issue. Only by intentionally applying a lot of brake pressure suddenly in the freshly fallen snow was I able to activate the ABS. Unfortunately, the current winter conditions near Hong Kong did not allow for any additional tire testing. No, I do not hear a buzzing noise when I approach them. When traveling at low speeds, I can just barely make out a clatter on the pavement; when traveling at rates of one hundred miles per hour or more, I don't feel any unusual rumble, although the music does not beat on me. The rubber antennae still seemed like they were brand new to me, despite the fact that it was the end of March. Sell it as though it were brand new. I'm crossing my fingers that this means the mixture has a very sturdy make-up. In a nutshell, we won't know how well it handles next winter because the tires aren't completely broken in yet. Is it fair to call them the best wheels available? - I want to skate them side by side with Hakka and Continental to see how they stack up. therefore, four stars (unless, of course, the manufacturers provide such a feature). Sure, I'm ecstatic.

Pros
  • I have a run-in with the Grand Vitara that I took on the 19th of December. The 19th year of Polish production. In the absence of snow, city streets remain unplowed. Surprisingly (since I don't drive faster than 80), I can't hear any wheel noise at such speeds. There is no need to worry about my driving ability in the city because I never engage in any kind of sudden maneuvers. In my opinion, fall is just like summer. When it snows, I head to the gym's running trail. There, we'll investigate it more thoroughly.
Cons
  • Not yet known.
