Review on DeWalt DXCM024 0343 Double Premium Rubber Air Hose by Jerome Pritchard

I installed this by hanging it from my garage ceiling. I didn't like the orientation of the guide from the box, so I took the guide from my hand, rotated my hand and reattached the guide so the hose was hanging straight from the upper drum, rotating the drum so that the Der Inlet is on the side closest to the compressor. It's okay, but it's not discussed in the manual, so a little off-road. Ceiling mounting requires a very strong mount as this thing is heavy and will withstand many pull and kick cycles. I definitely don't want it to fall off and scratch the floor. Operation is smooth and reliable, the straight gear lever does not bend and the spring has the correct tension. The hose pulls smoothly and is flexible. The only thing I don't like is hearing a click indicating the hose is locked. Works well when I'm nearby or quiet; not so easy when i pull the hose out into the driveway or the noise in the garage. Small but worth mentioning.
