I bought paint to renovate my mother's old piano. It had a few scuffs and scuffs from our recent move and looked old and dirty. I followed the directions and used a degreaser to thoroughly clean the piano. Then I sanded the piano lightly, especially the scratches. I washed off the cleaner/sander and dried the piano. I sealed the keys and started drawing. The paint is thick and lasts a long time. I did 2 layers. Allow the paint to dry completely between coats. I then applied glaze over the paint to bring out the details and give the piano a vintage look. Then I removed the brass leaves and other brass fittings and spray painted them vintage style. I installed new tie rods on the keyboard cover. I like that the paint is self-leveling and really covers every surface. I think this paint is only as good as the prep before painting. How it turned out! Next I'm making my kitchen cabinets!
