I swear by Beyond Paint!

Bought Nantucket. The color is great! Completely remodeled our bathroom. Goes on so easy, amazing coverage and so forgiving. I used a bevel brush for the corners and a roller for the rest. That's enough, I used less than a quarter for the bathroom cabinet. After doing this I bought more of Pebble for our basic bathroom cabinets and plan to do our kitchen cabinets as well.

  • Not the best

It runs on melamine but scratches fairly easily

I have painted a melamine faced MDF cabinet and shelves and was a bit amazed to see that it actually covers the melamine - I couldn't find another product that does this. The color needed two coats to reach full opacity. Note that the lacquer scratches fairly easily exposing the white melamine underneath. The big problem is the price - it's very expensive. If the price was lower I would buy Beyond Paint again. At this price I doubt I would buy it again.

Drawing was a pleasure!

before and after photo on a 19 year old dressing table. 1 liter and 2 coats used, 1/4 can left for tinting if needed. Painting was in one breath. Preparing the cabinets took much longer. Cleaning took the most time in the beginning, plus I let it dry overnight. Then glue everything. I love the Nantucket color and the end result! Waited overnight after painting to add new hardware. We marked and drilled holes before cleaning and painting. Made it a lot easier. Great paint! Very important! Now…

Does what it promises!

I bought paint to renovate my mother's old piano. It had a few scuffs and scuffs from our recent move and looked old and dirty. I followed the directions and used a degreaser to thoroughly clean the piano. Then I sanded the piano lightly, especially the scratches. I washed off the cleaner/sander and dried the piano. I sealed the keys and started drawing. The paint is thick and lasts a long time. I did 2 layers. Allow the paint to dry completely between coats. I then applied glaze over the paint

doesn't last! See update.

This color is a pleasure to work with. The texture is thick like a container or yogurt, it covers and spreads very well. This color is preferably applied with a roller if possible. I've used this to update several wood furniture and cabinets with various original finishes. I highly recommend reading the FAQ on the Beyond Paint website before using it. If your original piece of furniture or cabinet has poor workmanship. Flaking, chipping, etc., you must fix this problem before you can apply a…

Updated the overall look of my kitchen

Wanted to buy new cabinets, heard about this color and thought "why don't you try it?" It says no sanding or anything. I rough sanded first just to make sure I completely removed all the old dirt and grease beforehand. After a quick sanding, I used a plain green paint to remove any dust and excess dirt that might have stuck. I removed all the doors and painted the cabinet frames. Then I painted all the doors (in 2-3 layers), the paint dries pretty quickly, so after 3-4 hours it was possible to…
