Review on Spectre Performance 39610 Stainless Heater by Scott Chen

I was very disappointed with this "braided" hose. I expected it to be on par with a similar braided hose I've bought in the recent past. I switched to this brand because of the very reasonable price per foot. But it wasn't worth the money I spent on this item. This hose is only good for show and nothing more. The metal braid around the hose was very weak. In some places I could see the black hose through the metal braid. Finally, the tubing was very soft (slightly squeezable) and didn't feel like it would withstand prolonged heat and/or pressure. I did not install this hose on my repair car. I actually threw it away and ordered braided sleeving (at a higher price) from my original manufacturer.
