Review on 🚲 BV Bike Bag Bicycle Panniers with Adjustable Hooks, Easy Carrying Handle, Enhanced Reflective Trim and Spacious Pockets by Chris Barreto

This is my third set of saddlebags. The first 2 were terrible and broke up on their first flights! On this I drove 72 miles from Chicago to Gurney, Illinois. They worked great! Very durable. I had bottles of Gatorade and other weights and they held up. Basically, I'm stuck as the porter for everyone else. The clip at the bottom of each bag is very handy and keeps them in place so they don't flap or get caught in the spokes. Still not sure about water resistance? I've read all the reviews that these bags aren't great in that area but everything else people were happy with. So I bought them and then sprayed them with water repellent shoe polish and it seems to be working. The two underpasses we crossed were flooded so we just drove through. Did something get wet in the pockets? Also, some parts of the trail were a bit wet and muddy. Again, no moisture got into the bag. The reviews said the seams and zips leaked in the rain but the pockets have a flap over the zips to protect them so I don't know how that's possible? The handle is comfortable and the pockets can be easily removed and reattached. To be honest the only reason I'm writing this review is because these bags are a great buy; And you won't find a better saddlebag for the price.
