I was looking for an inexpensive chef's knife and found it in this Chicago cutlery knife. The knife itself has a good solid weight and doesn't look cheaply made. It comes in a hard plastic case that can be stored for safekeeping. I have to say this isn't the sharpest knife but it worked fine from the start. This problem can be solved with simple sharpening - no big deal! I'll report back on his condition in a few weeks, but so far so good.
