We bought this to keep old 35mm film on our computer. Nobody in our area burns movies to CD and this was a project that had to be realised. Assessing the unit's performance is difficult as some of the negatives date from 1986 and are deteriorating from unclimatic storage. Setup is easy to use: insert an SD card, I used an old 32GB card, and start scanning. We burned 700 negatives to disc in a few hours a day. I would recommend it for its ease of use and digital transfer if you need to save photos.
