I was hesitant to buy these due to poor installation reviews but pulled the trigger because I needed a strong and durable taillight protector that would add rigidity and protection. Firstly, I do not understand all the doubts about their installation. It was easy and took 3 minutes per side. All you have to do is have the right screwdriver. I could see the screws loosening during installation, but after some trial and error I found that installation was a breeze. You will need a sturdy Phillips screwdriver and be sure to follow the instructions. Use the 2 short and 2 long screws in the holes and you're done! There are no awkward corners that gave me trouble. The holes are straight and the shields do not interfere with the screwing process. Much better than the Rugged Ridge cases, these fenders will definitely add style and protection to the back of your Jeep. I would recommend them and buy them again if needed. Excellent goods!
