Although I have only used it once this year due to late purchase and warm weather, this brush deserves 5 stars. The long length allows me to reach the entire machine if needed, but more important is the stubble. My old brush had hard plastic bristles that made a grinding noise when I tried to brush snow off the hood or roof. However, this brush has marked bristles. The snapped ends of the bristles look like regular bristles have been pinched many times or cut lengthwise, almost like split hair. This makes them much softer and more flexible than normal bristles. With this brush I can sweep snow off my car without squeaking and not worry about scratching my car. I will note that flag bristles tend to pick up more snow, but a quick kick or two against my boot and it came in well enough. And what worries you more? Has excess snow stuck to your brush? Or micro scratches all over the car? As for the scraper, it did its job and stayed flat on first use and made consistent contact with the ice. The only thing I complain about is that I got red instead of blue. It would be nice if you could choose your color instead of random.
