Review on Temperature Humidity Hygrometer Thermometer Conditioner by William Runninger

Alexa now sees it as a thermometer and IR remote control

UPDATE Alexa didn't recognize it as a thermometer at first. I decided to ask him about his temperature and was surprised to find that he had now done it and given me an explanation. It is displayed in C, but Alexa displays the temperature in F. I know both, so I don't mind seeing both. I liked the idea of using this as a Wi-Fi smart IR controller as well as a thermometer and hygrometer. I have a solar system and like to monitor the temperature of the battery and turn on the air conditioning when needed. I bought another version that's just a thermometer and hygrometer, and Alexa tells me the temperature when I ask. I have a separate WiFi IR sensor that I use to turn on the AC. I thought that one could use this to make one device instead of two separate ones. The setup in the Smart Life application is very simple, it defines it as an IR controller. I was able to set up the TV box (I had to set up a few things and since I didn't install it in the battery room I installed the TV box first) then I went to Alexa and it found the IR remote for the set- Top box but not the sensor temperature. It was disappointing so I decided to leave it in the room where I installed it. Even asking Alexa to read the temperature of the name I gave the thermometer controller doesn't do anything since it's not configured as a sensor in Alexa.

Pros
  • SMART LINK: When the environment changes, you can make a smart connection. For example, open the air conditioner when the temperature is above 28℃.
