Everything was great with this case. HOWEVER I was either too stupid or didn't research enough, but if you live in a cold winter climate with snow etc (Vermont here) this needs to be REMOVED for the winter. Moisture condenses and blocks airflow, contributing to bad house odors and poorly functioning drains and toilets. This is a new house and the septic tank smell was noticed in the summer. No problem, right? Just put the cap on the vent tube outlet. Not so fast, the pipe exits at the top of the 30ft roof. Ahhh, now it might be easier to see how a hassle it can be to take it in and out twice a year (especially for us old folks). Again, I repeat, it works great in the mentioned frosty seasons.
