Fantastic product! for telescopes

I ordered my telescope from Revain on February 5, 2020. It arrived in about a week as promised by Revain. The box was in perfect condition. So everything in the box. We live in Atlanta and have had 7 days of semi clear skies since yesterday. Not the best time to buy a telescope. But I digress. Assembling the tripod and telescope was pretty easy. Directions are good and easy to follow. After completing the setup, I proceeded to set up FinderScope. The instructions say to take the scope outside and look for a stationary object at least a quarter mile away. In Atlanta with hills and trees, that's a problem. I was able to focus on an object about 200 yards (1/8 mile) away and set up the ScopeFinder. Next you will be prompted to download the app to your phone. The process was very simple - be sure to keep the orange card with the access code to access the controls of the telescope. You then place your phone in the StarSense Dock and align the dock so that your phone is in the center of the StarSense mirror. All that's missing now is a clear night sky. Even here in Atlanta, there's more waiting for you. Finally partly clear skies so we went outside. We launched easily from the moon. We opened the app, selected the moon, and the phone's screen told us which direction to move to find the moon. Obviously we knew where the moon was and wanted to see how the software worked. This is the coolest part of StarSense Explorer. The on-screen arrows will guide you to where you need to be. Once you're close, you can use the slow-mo settings until your phone says you're where you need to be. That's great. When I looked through the telescope's eyepiece, the moon was not centered, so I went through the alignment process very quickly in the ScopeFinder, again using the moon. Although the moon doesn't stand still, it turned out great. Now it's perfect. We moved to Venus and then the cluster before the clouds took over. The software did a great job of showing us both views. It is not necessary to keep the tripod perfectly level. All you have to do is follow the instructions on your phone. For beginners, this is a great telescope, easy to set up and use. Feel free to get one.
