Another great tape with an innovative design from Fastcap. The standard backing is measured at both ends of the strap. This means no more tilting your head to read it and no more errors due to mistakenly inverting numbers. It is easy to read left to right or right to left. How cool is that. In addition, the steps are bell-sharp and the 1/16th marks are labeled 1, 3, 5, etc. Other features include a built-in pencil sharpener that gives your pencil a precise point. As with all FastCap bands, the band allows you to place markers and has a marker area on the side that is easy to rub off with your thumb. I have the Flatback series which I highly recommend. It is flat and flexible, and clearly and legibly marked in both imperial and metric. My next cassette will be FastCap Burn. This tape has no measurements on the first two inches of the tape. You know how you always marvel at precision with a little push at the end, so go to the first inch or two and start there. not with this one. Now you don't have to make a mental note to subtract an inch from the total.
