In my opinion only the best pliers. There are many good competing brands that are equivalent but I made my bed with this brand a long time ago and want to be consistent :)

I really like them, price doesn't matter, but they have to make a US version with a drop spring and I'd be much happier, but the wire size is metric so it doesn't quite match the wire here, but no matter I have knipex. I'm a commercial electrician and I'm in dire need of a pair of 1000 volt spring wipers. If I get an answer, I would be very grateful.

These are great pliers, but a crimping tool doesn't give you the leverage you need to crimp securely. The addition of 18 gauge pullers would make this a better tool for HVAC technicians. I like the smooth finish on the end of the pliers which allows for gripping the wires without damaging the wire insulation. Strong insulation on the handles ensures greater safety when working with high voltage.

This is the best choice! The areas that are land are exclusive; while the visual forging is decent. The spring is hidden and very strong. The mechanism is easy to use and the jaws are versatile. The spring is always active. The lever simply limits the first position, the widest is for cutting cables.

Definitely worth buying if you need one tool for multiple purposes like most garages/repairers do. Because they're about double the price of the Channellock pliers I have (and love) and most other pliers seem a bit steep for the price. However, they also replace about 4-5 separate tools, so they're actually good value for money from that point of view. I like the instrument itself. A lot A good strong German assembly is felt.
