I ordered this because my children are tall enough to reach my silverware drawers and counters so we have had to stash all the knives in a pile in a cabinet above our fridge (see photo). We had this professionally installed on our wall with some other floating shelving, so it works pretty well to keep our knives from clanking around and chipping in our drawers.The two big drawbacks I should mention: about an inch on either end isn't magnetic, so you'll have about 14 useful inches on the bar. Installed this in our RV to save counter space. Looks really good and was super easy to install.Didn't use the included adhesive and opted to use the included screws to mount to the wall (Not sure how well the adhesive tape would hold in an RV)Good product and value for the money.
