It was packaged very nicely! It was double-wrapped in both a plastic sheet and bubble wrap and came undamaged.I do wish it was longer. It’s not quite the 16” like advertised, but even if it was, I really wish it could be more like 24” (to hold All the knives I use while cooking).Mounting it seems like a very easy task, but I can’t know for sure yet because I don’t plan on mounting it today, and it didn’t come with any instructions…The magnet is very strong! I’m very satisfied with the ‘grip’ this product has on the knives. I’m not worried about them randomly falling off once it is mounted on my wall. However, if you look closely at the picture, you can kind of see how it’s just a bit wider near the middle of the product. I’m not sure if it’s been warped or if it’s designed that way, but it makes me wonder why.I can’t tell if this is vinyl or if it’s painted metal, but it looks very….fake. Pretty! But fake…I’m worried about the appearance of it deteriorating pretty easily. I’ll update my review if it does.Giving it 3/5 stars because I truly believe this product would be that much better if it were longer, and even though mounting things on the wall may be second nature to some people, instructions are a necessity these days - they shouldn’t be a luxury.
