Description of 3/8" X 15' Double Braided Nylon Dock Lines - 5800 Lbs Breaking Strength For Boats Up To 30Ft

DOUBLE-BRAIDED STRUCTURE : The double-braided structure has maximum durability, stretchability, and shock-absorbency. More refined, 25-30% stronger than comparable. Secure your boat even in high waves and rough dock areas. MARINE-GRADE NYLON MATERIAL : Marine-grade nylon is by far the superior material used for dock lines because it can withstand the harsh environments of UV, salt water, oil, and mold. And the double-braided nylon does not kink or rotate under heavy loads while also maintaining a smooth feel that won’t grind on your boat’s finish. It has an ideal combination of decreased stretch and increased shock absorption. ULTRA STRENGTH : The boat lines are double-braided from 24 strands of marine-grade nylon. The Safe working load is 790-Pounds and breaking strength is 5800-Pounds. The 15' x 3/8" dock lines are best conditioned for docking and mooring Small to Medium-sized boats up to 25’. These ropes can also be easily used in conjunction with boat fender or bumper. In addition, it is also perfect in transporting goods and pulling carts and so on. PROFESSIONAL FINISHED : Each rope is 15ft long with a 12-inch eyelet designed in one end and has a diameter of 3/8 inch. Professionally whipped at the eyelet throat, heat-treated and whip locked at the end. Lasts multiple seasons without fraying or unraveling. 100% SATISFACTION SERVICE:GREENEVER nylon boat mooring dock line ropes keep your boat safe in the dock, these heavy and durable dock ropes are guaranteed to remain as good as new for a very long time. Sturdy, yet supple on my review.

What are the most important features of dock lines for your boats?- they need to be strong enough to secure your boat to the dock reliably- it is nice if they are also comfortable on your hands when you have to handle the linesThese are nice dock lines that have both of these features.Pros- strong. I didn't test to breakage, but the 5200 Lb breaking strength seems about right for the thickness- The loop is not just spliced, but also stitched for security.- The other end is whipped and stitched…

Pros
  • Great value for very good quality dock lines.
Cons
  • Not suitable for boats over 30ft

Buy at your own peril!

Two out of the three ropes just snapped after 48 hours! A cable meant to secure a very costly and valuable item like a boat should not be of such shoddy quality and be able to withstand normal chafing against a cleat . If you value your boat buy another brand!

Pros
  • These are high quality! Love them
Cons
  • Double braided nylon may accumulate debris and be difficult to clean

Not a premium rope but price is right and it does the job

The rope doesn't have the same feel as a premium double braided dock line but I don't expect any problems with it securing my boat to the dock. Also darned if I'm going to pay the high price for the "premium" version. This price for this product is a lot more reasonable.

Pros
  • I like that they are thin enough to fit through a small cleat. Seem durable. Tome will tell.
Cons
  • Higher breaking strength may result in more shock to the boat during docking

Seems like rock durable rope.

I got this for general use around the house and on the property. It seems like very durable rope that will stand up to rough use. I would have loved if they were a bit longer but I can make this work. I'm pleased with them.

Pros
  • Good rope that serves the purpose
Cons
  • Double braided nylon may fray over time

Good Lines good for me

Good value for the money. Exactly what I was looking for. Looks like a good quality which will last years Great dock lines for the price. Smooth, won''t scratch the boat. They have not frayed like our last set..

Pros
  • Great dock lines for the price. Smooth, won't scratch the boat. They have not frayed like our last set.
Cons
  • May not provide enough grip or traction on certain types of docks or boats

Overall solid but will snag

Good overall dock lines. The price is right for what you are getting. Easy to work with, although I do feel that the knots don't seem to hold as well as our other dock lines. My biggest issue is the size of the braid - it's very large and does snag quite easily. With that said, I have no doubt they are strong enough for what they are intended for and should last several seasons.

Pros
  • Its rope and made knots
Cons
  • May not be as aesthetically pleasing as other dock line options
