They work really well

I'm new to these network drives and I'm really impressed with them. They remove material quickly, clog slowly and wear out very easily. Most clogs will clear when you pull the disc out of the pad. Spray it on decently, let it dry and it's ready to go again. They dry faster than full-backed discs. You save me a lot of time, effort and money.

Virtually no dust Fits tools and gadgets

WOW! At the moment I'm working on painting the toolboxes. I tried the sand disc on my metal desktop to get a feel for it and wow! Dust almost didn't rise and very strong if you push a little and get to the metal. Sticks very well to my grinder for transporting goods in the port. Although I got a size 6 instead of a 5, the grinder didn't damage the pad. Very happy to use them in my projects!

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

VERY IMPRESSIVE!: Tools & Equipment

3M has probably made the best abrasive product as a material remover. Removes wood easily and quickly without clogging. I've sanded several pieces of wood with a sieve and its abrasiveness still lasts for a few more jobs. Not only does it remove materials in no time, the blades almost never clog and the design captures most of the material leaving very little in the air or on your work surface. I don't think the sanding gets any better than these sanding sheets, I will be using 3M for many…

Need their system to use

The pictures in the listing are confusing, some just show the screen I received, some show the fabric backing on the screen. Then using this on their system which is just a dust free sander how do you keep the dust off the pad it won't cause the pad to wear out with all the dust rubbing against it while sanding, possibly metal fragments if Paint stripes on bare metal? Well I didn't have their system, figured I could use them on a stuffed block with holes but didn't want to go through many of…

Quick Cut - Body Repair Tools

When this arrived I've used it on more than one project. I used traditional grit sandpaper with glue. Cutting through the putty was a welcome change. Sanding off layers of paint was not a problem. The feather edge matched all of the other papers I've used. I was able to prep bare steel for conversion coating without burning through 10 pieces. The grid system appears to have a positive longevity effect. I'm about to switch to the blue web and moving on. I just have to use my current stash of…

Excellent abrasive and unparalleled dust collection

I'm a DIY enthusiast who does modestly sized projects, especially when it comes to wood. That means a lot of grinding. I have a great set of sanders and thought I already had the best ones (Festool sanders and paper). This abrasive product from 3M Blue Net changed my mind. With its aggressive and sharp grit and porous backing, my cordless sander can work like a corded sander. You can see from my photos that I even abused the disc by installing it on a 5" grinder instead of a 6" grinder. It…
