Description of 3M Fire Barrier Sealant Sausage Tapes, Adhesives & Sealants

Firestop tested up to 3 hours in accordance with ASTM E 814 (UL 1479) and CAN/ULC S115. Fire resistive joint system tested up to 4 hours in accordance with ASTM E 1966 (UL 2079). Continuous seal remains pliable and allows for typical pipe movement. Water-based for easy installation, cleanup and disposal. High-solids formula means limited shrinkage. Re-enterable and repairable fire barrier sealant.

Outstanding Caulking Solution for Industrial & Scientific Needs

This sealant is the best thing that ever happened to my laboratory. It easily covers all nooks and crannies with minimal effort. The adhesion is incredible and fire-proof capabilities excel..

Effective Fire Sealant for Industrial Use!

As a hesitant buyer I was skeptical that this fire barrier sealant would be as effective as advertised. However, as a result of using this product, I found that it exceeded my expectations. It was easy to apply and provided a strong seal that gave me peace of mind in an industrial setting.The only downside was the price, which was a bit higher than other sealants on the market. was used near a house and a wood burning chimney. fills even a large gap, doesn't let rain through and yet isn't cracked or crumbled like other products.
