Attaching the adhesive tape according to the cleaning instructions is very easy and ensures that our windows are further sealed. I no longer see that thin line of light coming out from under the window sill. Using duct tape was a very good idea and I hope that the duct tape not only prevents drafts but also keeps out the dust and grit that comes with sand storms from time to time.

Unlike other products I've used, 3M has made me a very satisfied customer. I have two portable air conditioners that I install every summer. Past experience hasn't made me happy as the 'other' tapes are almost impossible to remove in winter mining. 3M stays in place when you need it to seal air leaks around windows and air conditioning liners and removes without leaving a mess. I'm so glad I found this product as I'm 82 and don't have the patience to fight 'other' brands.

I have insulated my windows for many years and have dealt with the most difficult windows to insulate. I've always chosen 3M because of the excellent tape (it doesn't peel off windowsills like other brands) and because the plastic film shrinks (until it's so clear you don't notice). But this current batch missed the mark. The film does not shrink much. There are noticeable creases that I cannot remove from the foil even 20 minutes after blow drying the foil.
