I have no problem with the chucks. I do have a problem with their standard hex shaft. I needed a chuck of this size to drill a hole in a very restricted space. These chucks (or any other small hex shanked chucks) are too long. A shorted chuck shaft will reduce the size of whatever drill they would be attached to. We need chucks like these with shorter shafts.

Great idea, but fails. The smaller one has a seat for a drill bit, but they forgot to put in a seat for larger bits in the larger one, which renders it useless.

I tried to use the larger one today,for the first time.It wouldn't hold the bit then it came apart.I want to send these pieces back.This is garbage.Not even good enough for JUNK

Though they work quite good on smaller sized drill bits, they don’t for the any larger than say 1/4”. The chuck simply doesn’t open wide enough. You’ll need a spanner and a pair of pliers to open and close the chuck, as it can’t be tightened/loosened properly by hand.

Thanks to this worthless piece of trash, I now have a bit stuck in the wall. This is easily the biggest waste of money I’ve ever encountered. Product doesn’t work and bits become loose almost instantly into drilling.

Works great for wire brush. Until the second time I used it the springs started falling out. I enjoyed them while it last though a very short time.

I might seem unfair to give this item 3 stars but the item description and picture clearly state and 2 diffrent chuck sizes, I got 2 of big ones 0.6-8mm the only difference between them is the color, one is chrome and the other is black, it would be more of a hassle to return them than just buy from a different vendor. So the 3 stars reflect the experience more than the item, vendor .5 stars item 4 stars and they meet somewhere in the middle.

The metal for the jaws is weaker than a bit’s, so under any kind of torque it just shaves itself down to a flat, useless, gripping surface.

As long as you don’t need reverse I guess it’s fine but everyone knows you need reverse on a drill. So sick of changing out drill bits. This seamed to be the smarter solution. Save your money.

Bought these chucks to hold 1/32" and 3/64" drill bits. I tested each chuck with the two sizes of drill bits. I checked to see if each chuck could hold each bit securely, and if the chucked drill bits ran without wobble. The bigger chuck passed; the smaller chuck could not spin the bit without significant wobble. I tried to insert the bits several times and tried several drill bits. All failed to spin without a lot of wobble. This means that precision drilling is impossible. The smaller chuck…

Had to use plies to tighten the chuck to get this thing to securely hold the drill bit. Otherwise the drill bit won't turn. Rather useless.

It was a great value. They are very accurate. I us them in my drill press chuck for smaller bits less than 1/16”. Also the versatility to be able to use them in a hand held drill.

Very poor quality. once you put a drill bit into these the drill bit does not turn true.Yes the packaging is nice and overall appearance is nice.Do not buy if you want any sort of accuracy.

I was using it to drill through the fenders on my truck to put my mudflaps on. I needed to drill 3 holes and on the 3rd hole the drill bit started wobbling, I took the bit out and the jaws inside the unit were all, well, falling apart, rendering the tool useless. good thing is, I have 2 smaller chucks. but my bit won't fit in them. basically useless tool.

The bit got stuck in the barrel. Nothing is getting that bit out and while thankfully the but that is stuck is more commonly used, it is unfortunate that I can’t switch it around.Unless you’re okay getting a bit permanently stuck, would not recommend.

If you don't have two drills and you keep having to go back and forth between large bits and small bits on a project, these little driver bit adapters are work great. Exactly what I needed to be able to use my driver for small bits and use my drill for my largest bits at the same time.

A good chuck has jaws that are constrained to be parallel to the axis of rotation. The goal here is to have your bit/tool gripped along the length so that it is centered along the axis of rotation and can't wobble in the chuck. These chucks are very cheap and they work by the threaded hex shaft screwing into the body which pushes the jaws from behind against the conical shell forcing them to 'close'. The jaws are free floating inside the body with some light springs 'encouraging' equal spacing.

Great for my purpose of converting an electric screwdriver for household drilling (originally purchased to mount blinds). Really appreciated that they come in a clear storage box.

This is a piece of garbage. The inside is made of plastic which means that it has zero ability to hold a drill bit pure waste of money. Broke in my first use DONT BUY THIS
