Not Impressed on my review.

I bought this product under the impression I would get a high quality KVM switch box. Frankly I don't see much difference between this product and the much cheaper products except the price and that surprisingly, the cheaper products have more features such as a hotkey and option to hook up sound. Other than that I continue to have the same issues I had with much cheaper KVM switches which led me to buy this product in the first place.Switching from one device to another still takes time for…

This is KVM #12 or #13. It's excellent. I got this because my previous KVM would not work with newer wireless mice. This one has had no issues at all.I have an odd setup, one primary system with a 4k monitor and then 3 other systems which have their own 1080p monitor; and I use a USB switch to flip between the systems. This KVM has worked exactly how I had hoped it would even under non standard circumstances.Very happy with the purchase.

UPD2-12AP-switching doesn't work without unplugging and plugging back in machines

Initially, support was good. I had a few issues at first, but they were fixed. Then my kvm stopped displaying to monitors correctly-when I would switch back to a machine, I would get a black screen even though the cpu saw the monitor. The only way to fix was to unplug the monitor link from that cpu on the kvm and plug it back in. I emailed support and they said they would RMA my kvm. That was several weeks ago and they have not responded to any of my followup emails. Stay away from this…

Expensive, and doesn't work well (and check model numbers closely)

Originally I was okay with this unit and its quirks, but with time they've just gotten worse. For as expensive an item as this is, I expected more quality than I got.It completely stops sending USB traffic to my Linux box when it's rebooted, and the hotkey feature has stopped working altogether.I was hoping for more because I liked the design.
