Just what I needed, I cut a bit too much on my recessed lighting, and instead of trying to work on patching it I used this product to cover up the small gap.

When removing the old can lights there may be some rough edges or paint chips around the opening. This is perfect to put in place before setting in the new retro fit LED lights. Note, before removing the old can light score around the the old fixture and you won’t have an unsightly rim left behind.

These are very well made and took care of my problem of my drywall holes being a little too large. They are shinny, but not too much so and look fine (for me) as is. Obviously easy to install. Very pleased.

What a life saver. Such a simple fix with an elegant look. Everywhere I researched said that I would need to re-do the drywall or get larger recessed lights. I would recommend this to anyone! So easy, anyone can do it.

Exactly what I needed to fix poorly cut drywall openings. Covers it nicely and looks pretty good. Easy to install. The only complaint I have is that they are glossy and I would have preferred a matt finish. Will probably try spraying them to see if that gives me the look I want.

After I went to replace my older 4" hi-hats with a modern LED unit to replace the bulb, I was stuck with the fact that the older glass dome finish ring was over 6" giving the newer light a "ring around the collar". These "goof" rings were the perfect solution.

Fits the new 4” canless LED recessed lights perfectly. I removed a can light that left a sloppy hole that could not be coved by the flange on the canless light. This ring looks like it is part of the original light. The only drawback is I only needed one and had to get 5. Hopefully I will need them later.

While the inner diameter was ok. The diameter of the actual product was too small even for a 6” recessed lighting fixture. This left me frustrated to no end, I literally had to use drywall repair to cover the exposed portions that the goof ring did not cover.

Plastic ring that looks good. Easy to install. They call them goof rings but Most modern LED lights have very small rims requiring a ring no matter how accurately you cut the dry wall.

I had bought slim 4 inch recessed lighting to replace old lights but the old lights left a noticeable discoloration that the new light didn’t cover. I didn’t want to paint the whole ceiling so these goof rings covered them perfectly and look nice with the lights. Exactly what I needed and worth it for the price.
