I was so excited to receive these Wisp brushes that as soon as they arrived, I tested them on my painting. The fact that they are angular really helps when creating curves, etc. I've been painting a lot of animals lately and the wisp brush helps save time rather than creating single stroke lines, although in order to create realistic looking fur, it's sometimes necessary to create single stroke feathering at various parts of the animal's body. Just got my wisp brushes today and can't wait to use them. I paint a lot of animal pictures, and making fur so it looks like fur is a time taker. I've been really practicing painting fur a ton, lately, and learning about different techniques, brushes, etc. I recently bought a spiky comber brush from Rosemary & Co. and really liked it. But it is good more for fluffier, softer fur. I decided to get this brush set, since they looked just different enough from the brushes I already had, that it might give me a different look for fur. These are great little brushes for painting grass, fur, etc. Let a fellow artist try them and she loved them also. The brushes leave behind bristle marks.

These brushes are well made. I bought them to paint fur textures. It does a great job for that purpose. I have been painting for several years and I know brushes. These are definitely worth the money and are great in quality.

Cool special brushes! These are hard to find in any art store so when I saw them on revain I had to try them. High quality and they work great! I now want to come back an order all the others I can find!

I like the handles on the Royal and Langnickel Aqualon brushes because they cannot warp or split. The wisp brushes are very useful for landscaping, human hair, and animal fur. Nice price as well!
