5 out of 50 is 10% of the fault! Maybe I just got a bad batch. It was one thing for the head to just fall off at the top of the tower, but in my case all 5 shattered into pieces like they were glass. Even with glasses and a long-sleeved shirt, it's no fun being hit in the face and arms by plastic splinters.

They are not as strong as the OEM spikes that come with the Dimex edge. These cleats actually flex while OEM cleats do not flex at all. So far I've used 6 spikes and 2 of them were so brittle they broke trying to drive them into the ground. I do not recommend this product for use with clay or similar hard/dense soils, but they should work well in less dense soils.

I've never been happier to see landscape lace! They arrived in perfect condition and I had no problems using them. I had to add more spikes to my piping after the winter months took their toll. They solved my problem quickly and are strong enough that I could pound them into the ground with a hammer. You made my landscape beautiful again. I have used all but 10. I could use them all, but I wanted to have spares on hand.

I used these without the digging vigoro edge and they worked fine. The landscape edgings only came with a few and I need more but a pack of 8 was about $10 at the store and it was a better deal as I plan on making more edgings. A rubber mallet is preferred, but I used a 2-12 pound rotary hammer and gently hammered them in. If it didn't work out, I didn't force it and just moved on to the next hole, which worked great. If I need more I will buy it again.

I bought these to use in my landscaping project I'm working on. This was a major permanent project in both my backyard and front yard. I had to purchase multiple packs of these spikes to complete the project. I bought them in several stores. But I found that for the most part there are a lot more of them and the quality is actually better. So for the price and value of the product I got a much better deal with this purchase.

I bought these to find the border for a 10' x 20' playground layout. I'm really amazed that these plastic nails can hammer like that. I managed to break only one, despite hitting it on the edge of the head many times. Given the typical soil, I'm sure this will be the right nail. However, in our case, our soil has rocks and roots. I was able to drive these nails almost to the end, but the last inch or two stopped the nailing process. I think the nails are hitting the rocks. The plastic nails…
