3800 Must be good for filters

Easy enough to install on my 1999 GTP Grand Prix. Overall I couldn't tell much of a difference in horsepower but it does give the car a good sound and really brings out the squeak of the supercharger. This makes the pedal a bit stiffer on the gas and overall fun to play with. A good entry level product for mods for your 3800.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

I am very satisfied with the product

I am very satisfied with the product. Easy to install, you just need to follow the instructions if you don't know how to do it. Sounds amazing and I'm getting about 2mpg better on my 04 Impala SS. I can feel the difference in strength as well. I hear the compressor spinning faster than I could. I recommend to anyone who doubts whether to take it or not.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • It was possible to choose a newer model

nice sound, better mpg

Had an A1 the first day I installed it, good sound, better per gallon. but 1 day after installation the plastic manifold came off the rubber coupling and my car had power loss and full throttle, also the message center was throwing all sorts of wild codes. I fixed it and an hour later it disconnected again. So now it's my life I guess.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Definitely satisfied!

Installed on my son's 1998 Grand Prix. The kit came with clear instructions as well as all the parts needed to install it on the car. It definitely helped a bit, both with gas mileage and airflow. You can definitely hear the difference as the compressor kicks in now. This was an update of the original kit that had been fitted to the car by the previous owner. Definitely worth your money!

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Best for $100 Added by Far

I knew this was what I wanted to do with my 04 Impala every time I got it four years ago. Saved an additional $30 by getting an open K&M box. with all details. Installation took less than an hour. My experience is an extra 5 mpg on the freeway. Fast torque at low revs and breathability. At the same time I added a Master Flow silencer system. It sounds better and better and gets better over time. I bought a charging set about 4 months ago, cleaned it and charged it for less than $35 and it…

So far, so good! Best Performance Parts and Accessories

I am writing this review hastily so that I can give my first impressions and observations and add more information as time goes on. First off, I recommend to anyone who likes getting things done on the spot and just refer to the instructions if you're stuck in RTFM before getting started, even if you're a self-proclaimed 5-star backyard mechanic. The reason is that you can spot inconsistencies in the installation steps before you start, not after, and you need to stop and do some R&D to…

  • Absolutely Amazing!

  • Not bad, but...
