Worked as intended after modification

Easy to install, ran less than 30 minutes to test. Went well. Spent the night and found a fuel leak where he unscrewed the magnetic bolts in the fuel tank. I tightened it as best I could (enough to check the mower), worked fine for about 10 minutes, then started spraying. The fuel was clean, the filter changed, so everything points to a bad carburettor. Go back and spend more money so you don't have to do that job all over again. Do not want it. Updated 05/13/19. I disassembled the carburetorโ€ฆ

Big! (if you want to risk burning your barn!)

The old carburetor had a plastic fitting for connecting the gas line that leaked like a strainer, probably due to the fact that the Previous owner used alkaline gas so when I saw it had steel pipe and the price was right I ordered from above. It installed easily and after draining the water/used gas mixture from the gas tank and refilling with non-alkaline gas it caught fire and after adjusting the idle screw it ran like a champ. This morning I decided to tinker with my trailer a bit so I wentโ€ฆ

My mower worked terribly!

I was having trouble with the carburetor on my mower. I decided to replace it with these cheap $19 from Revain. Huge mistake. This caused my lawn mower to crackle, spatter and run very rough at high idle and whenever the blades were engaged. From time to time he blew black smoke and pretended to be rich. I checked the valve settings several times but there was no improvement. I didn't want to believe that my new $19 carburetor was the problem. Well it was. I broke down and spent the money on aโ€ฆ

Ideal replacement - Throttle bushing will require reaming

This is an economical replacement for several different Walbro and Nikki carburetors found on many Briggs and Stratton engines. I've used a few of these in my shop - it's a lot cheaper and more reliable than reworking an already dodgy Nikki design - and they've all worked great. The only issue I need to point out - and it affects every one I've installed - is the little white bushing that the throttle adjuster stem fits into. The hole in the socket is too small for the pin to fit properly. Some
