No more swimmers! Tea Accessory

I prefer loose tea, but I was disappointed with the little leaves and bits left over from the various tools I've tried - right down to these bags. NOTHING escapes and I have complete control over the process. I've been buying these for about a year now and I love them. I have a small size for a cup/mug of tea and a larger size for making a travel mug/tea thermos. That's great.

Bad implementation of a good idea.

Bad implementation of a good idea. As soon as the pouch gets wet, it closes up, sticks together and starts tearing where the stick passes. To prevent this a reinforcement strip with pre-drilled holes is required at the top and the bag itself needs to be about an inch lower to allow the tea to sit properly at the bottom of the cup and not overflow and run out of the bag into the cup. Liquid.

  • Beautiful

Tiny. Don't lose your stick!

Please note that these bags are small and require the attached stick to hang the filled tea bag in hot water in a tea cup. Unfortunately I lost this designer wand less than halfway through the tea bag box and had to improvise. It is positive that the bags do not stick together, are easy to dose and fill and do not give the tea any aroma. However, be aware of the small size.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unreliable

My favorite tea filters!

I used to use tea filters on a mug from another supplier which I liked until I tried these. Their bottom is left open for easy filling, while others have a pointed bottom. The filter rod is longer than other brands, which means it fits better in larger mugs and jugs. It also holds more tea leaves than my previous brand, which is especially helpful when I'm brewing a pitcher rather than just a cup.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No paint required

Price more than doubled in less than 5 months?

These are good quality filters but not the best on the market. They're also easy to tear with your own stick if you're not careful. And the filters are too short for my regular sized cups. They work better with regular teacups than mugs. And the wand looks like cheap plastic. I bought them in January 2014 for $6 from Revain plus free shipping as a top seller. Now the price has gone up to almost $14? This is madness. Not worth the high price and I will not order again at this price.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I really have no complaints about this, everything is fine

Handy product for individual cups of tea

Note: This is a 5 star product that lost a star simply because it doesn't work properly with every cup you might have. More details below. My wife drinks tea and I drink coffee. When we brew drinks, we don't have to brew a full pot of tea. However, we have found that most filters and tea balls do not allow the tea to expand and steep properly. This product solves the problem of brewing with the convenience of paper filters. I find Finum's filter material better than the Melitta filters I use…

High quality filter ideal for tea or coffee cups

Great for loose tea and also when pouring coffee from a French press into a cup to filter out the grounds and excess sediment. You can use a nice little plastic stick to hang the filter - just slide it up through the filter and when you're making tea hang it on the rim of the cup, or you can hold the filter stick over the cup. a cup. I use a French coffee press and have found that even when pouring with the filter press in place coffee grounds and some coffee grounds can get into my coffee cup…

LOVE THESE FILTERS - work great when used as shown!

Tea filters with filter sticks work perfectly! I've been using them for a long time (years) and am very surprised by some of the negative reviews. I have tried all possible options and these are the best for me. I believe the leakage problem some have had is because they didn't open up the filter to allow the little notches to hold each side of the filter bag in place. If you use the product as directed on the packaging, it will not spill. Six other comments/suggestions: 1) I found that I made…

PERFECT FILTRATION SYSTEM for loose tea

I am very happy with these Finum Medium tea filters! I read other reviews and understood where they came from. When these filters collapse by themselves (when pouring water) - it is very difficult to open them - and the tea leaves start to flow out of the filter through the top. Aggravating. But my review: I love these filters because not only are they sturdy, but they are also wide at the bottom - this allows the tea leaves to fully open. Some filters are too narrow at the bottom and don't…
