Excellent Quality and Superior Value Cam Straps

I used to manage a kayak shop and learned a little bit about cam straps. These have none of the silly frills that I despise. There are no unnecessary cushioning protectors for the cams (I hate those stupid things.) There is no extra loop to tuck the excess strap under (I prefer to wrap the excess around the cam to act as a cushion.) The stitching that holds the cams is done in the proper diagonal pattern and the free end of the strap has been melted closed with a nice crisp end that slips…

Pros
  • Worked for what it was needed for
Cons
  • The straps may come apart at the seams after repeated use.

Great weight and strength. READ UPDATE!

I have had lots of experience over the years with tie down straps. I usually buy ratchet type but wanted a less complicated setup to hold a 60# trolling motor battery in a canoe. I'll use 2 so strength will not be an issue. The straps on these are a decent thickness, not that blowing in the wind, getting tangled up lightweight straps you get at the big cheapo tool outlet. The cam itself is heavyweight and has extremely aggressive teeth to grip the strap which I like. Most cams systems have…

Pros
  • These straps are easy to use like them very much
Cons
  • The straps may not be strong enough for frequent use.

Good Sturdy Straps: my feedback

Used these straps for tying down some furniture in a U-Haul box truck and they really work very well in holding the furniture together, so they won't tilt while driving around. First try of using was a good experience, hopefully these straps continue to get the job done for a while. I recommend this product for now

Pros
  • Tie-Downs
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for use in harsh off-road conditions.

Good Straps - some minor issue

The straps are great but I have a few minor issues.1) I got the 6 pack of black straps. It did NOT come with the bag as advertised.2) I found the end of the strap difficult to push through the latch. I suspect the corners of the fused end stuck out a bit. I had to use a knife to coerce the strap through.3) As is clearly shown in the instructions on Best Buy (no instructions provided with the straps), the loose end of the strap just kind of hangs out. There is no "post-engagement" place to tuck…

Pros
  • Versatile - the 12' length of the straps means that they can be used to secure a range of different-sized items, from large pieces of furniture to small boxes and packages
Cons
  • The bright orange color may clash with the color of the vehicle or trailer.

does exactly as required

Used these to secure luggage in a large 21 ft3 car top carrier. If anything, for my use case, the straps are a bit long, but can't count off on the product for that. I can trim them up as required. The clasps are easy to synch and release. They held everything on a 1000+ mi journey nice and secure.

Pros
  • I would give it a 5 star if the dye used not come off and make my hands dark blue.
Cons
  • The bright orange color may attract thieves or vandals.

Simple, Light Weight

I ordered this to tie down my mattress, it's worth the money. It has great length and it is also very sturdy. Once it clamps it is hard to move. Highly recommended 👌

Pros
  • Securing lids on storage containers.
Cons
  • The straps may become stiff and difficult to use in cold weather.

Fine for light loads, camping

Used to lash camping gear to my motorcycle. Does its job, but I cant attest to the absolute strength. The cords have plenty of length (I trimmed mine down).

Pros
  • Accessories
Cons
  • The straps may fray or tear when exposed to heat or sunlight.

*Highly* UV reactive

This glows much brighter under black light than I expected. I used these to solidly attach studio monitors to subwoofers, effectively creating full-range 3-way speakers. This glows nicely under the blue LEDs in my studio. I have a few left over and will start wearing them as belts

Pros
  • Work good
Cons
  • The two-pack is inadequate for larger jobs that require multiple straps.

Need angled end.: my feedback

I had other straps for years, and they came with a diagonal cut on the end of the strap. That makes it much easier to fir through the hardware gap.

Pros
  • Securely tightens loads to 200-pounds of actual use and 600-pounds of break strength
Cons
  • The straps may not be suitable for use with high-value or delicate cargo.

Tough little things

I leveled 8 sidewalk slabs with these and they’re still holding up very strong. Using them with a dolly too is a game changer.

Pros
  • These straps work great for quick loads.
Cons
  • The product is not eco-friendly due to the use of synthetic materials.

Exactly what I needed

I use these straps to secure a bucket with rocks to my canopy so it does not blow away. It makes a great anchor. They’re the perfect length and exactly what I needed. I just started using them so I don’t have a review on extended use and durability.

Pros
  • Yes they are as described . Wish they were a little heavier weight
Cons
  • The straps may not hold up well in inclement weather conditions.

Worth the buy on my review.

After using them for a good while I can say these are worth the price. They are starting to wear down a little but I've used 3 out of the 6 extensively. I still have 3 new ones in the bag waiting to replace the 3 I'm using. I use them to strap down a 145lb fishing kayak into the bed of my truck and they have yet to fail me.

Pros
  • Won’t scratch your kayak like ratchet straps
Cons
  • Other tie-down straps on the market have better reviews and higher quality.
