Not everything came

Not everything came, for the SECOND TIME! I bought this item and it didn't have the "L" part nor the lever which is the main part where the sensor attaches. I replace it expecting to get everything. At least I thought so! How can you make the same mistake twice?! Why don't I have all the parts?!

Pros
  • Endurance test results
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Makes a good sound when the engine is running

Makes a good sound when the engine is running. People think my muffler makes noise, but few know about it. hehehe I would recommend if you live in California and also if you are trying to keep it outdoors. Please note that you need a K&N sticker to pass a smog check (California residents).

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • There are problems

Crap product, great company

I would give the device one star. I give the manufacturer five stars. This caused the check engine light and a code that was too bad. I was on chemotherapy so I couldn't install it until the return window was closed. I emailed K&N and they sent me an extra crankcase ventilation and second filter. Installed and still too light code. So I wrote to K&N again and they asked for my receipt and sent me a check to cover my expenses. They were amazing, I will always buy their products.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • I won't say anything

The check engine light came on and the car ran poorly.

Easy to fit on a 2013 Honda Fit Sport, especially as a YouTube video will follow. Sounds great once installed! The next day, the CEL showed code P0171. I threw away the code and checked all the hoses, if there were leaks there are no leaks everything is fine. CEL returned a total of five times. After the second time I changed the air mass meter and the CEL was back. After the third time, the car began to idle roughly and accelerated jerkily. Tried everything, disconnecting battery and leaving…

K&N, enough said: Air Intake

At first I couldn't figure out why this air intake system was so expensive, now that I have it and installed it on my 2010 Honda Fit I understand. comes with everything needed for installation. Fits perfectly. The installation is quite easy. The instructions are clear enough to follow, not 100% perfect but as close as possible. The increase in engine performance is noticeable and audible. All materials and details are of excellent quality. I can't say if this cold air intake system is better or

Air intake overview K&N 69-1017TTK

This air intake is not too loud, which is a good thing (the quieter the better). It seems to beef up the car a bit in terms of acceleration. Did a few runs at 5-60 mph with the following results: With K&N air intake installed, 9.5 seconds average (2 runs, 1 each direction, mostly flat ground as far as I can tell, with a nearly full tank and just me in the car [210 pounds]) In stock it runs 10.5 seconds. Believe me, that's a pretty significant improvement. I have 5 manual transmissions. I think…

So much love for this air intake

The K&N kit comes with very simple instructions printed specifically for your fit. I was amazed at that. They then also included a dynamometer chart showing peak horsepower gains, which blew what little I had left in my head. So just great. As for the install, the stock Fit air cleaner housing is oddly shaped and bulky. K&N says you don't have to remove the battery to take it out, but I've found that removing the battery makes it much easier to remove the filter housing and install a new inlet.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
