Disappointing Air Intake Kit

Based on my observations this air intake kit does not live up to its performance claims. While it may provide a slight increase in horsepower, the installation process is difficult and time-consuming. However, the design is stylish and adds a nice touch to the engine bay..

Pros
  • Stylish design
Cons
  • Difficult installation and underwhelming performance.

Use a dry filter instead

I was looking for air intakes for my 2010 Kia Soul. I've narrowed my choices down to K&N and AEM. I was more inclined to use K&N's as I've installed them on other vehicles I've had in the past and have never used AEM products. Before I wanted to buy a K&N, I decided to call my dealer to see if that would void part of my warranty (the reason I bought a NEW car in the first place). He told me that K&N makes a great product (as mentioned, I already knew that) but that an oily filter would void…

Pros
  • HIGH QUALITY: Made in America.
Cons
  • Socket required
