Impressive Silver Intake Easy Installation

Based on our own experience, the 69 8614TS Typhoon Silver Intake System is a game-changer for automotive emission systems. Not what I was hoping for, but

This air intake works well, K&N always make great products. Unfortunately it gets stuck on the bottom of my car so in terms of acceleration I would say my car is a bit slower than the stock vehicle. However, this gives the engine a nice raspy sound that wasn't there before; However, the volume can be a bit annoying at high speeds.

Get ready for YouTube

This amazing product gives my 2008 Scion tC better throttle response and louder engine noise on top of my feline TRD engine. However, K&N made a mistake with the instructions/packaging. At least some labeled packages would be nice to know what's what, and maybe instead of "using the hardware as shown" you might even tell us WHAT HARDWARE TO USE so I don't have to waste 20 minutes to make sure I have the right screw the right configuration. . The rest of the installation went great.
