Worked like clockwork

My Whirlpool Duet GEW9250PW dryer had a burning smell and stopped working mid cycle. I took it apart and found that a resistor on the control board had blown. I immediately ordered and replaced a new control board part number 8546219 Rev C from a reputable auction site. My dryer still didn't get hot, but the drum turned. I then followed the troubleshooting guide posted on the side panel of the dryer. All you need is a multimeter and of course it drew my attention to this little thermistor…

Pay for what you get.

Cheaply made. In no way comparable to the quality of the original part. I've learned my lesson when it comes to counterfeit parts. do yourself a favor Spend the extra and get products you know work from reputable companies. Definitely don't buy cheap heating elements or components that will make them work the way they're supposed to and, more importantly, turn off when they're supposed to. Literally lit red when I realized it was running too long so I went to check it out and literally burned…

Replacing the thermistor of an older He3 Duet dryer - is there a compatibility issue?

Still getting error code E1 after installation - seller asked for more specific model number information which I provided 4 days ago (but they didn't receive it). Hoping to hear if there is another thermistor that is better compatible with my old He3 Duet vintage dryer when the laundry is piling up.
