📀 Optimized 9-inch Portable DVD Player (DS9521PK) Review

We bought this DVD player to entertain our little one on a recent trip but the sound was so low you couldn't watch the video over the plane could hear. The headphones were very cheap and the pair we tried to use broke within minutes of being plugged in (headphones fell off). The bag is a great idea, but also cheap. The DVD player itself plays very well and the picture was pretty good.

We have used it in the back seat of our car for just over a month (5 days since last return date). Then one fine day the picture disappeared, there was sound but there was no picture. The noise went away after about a day. DVD is just about the bush. It's made out of cheap plastic that we could handle if we could actually watch a movie. The headrest bracket broke after 2 days. Now in the trash. Very disappointed.

Ordered from Sony but discontinued. The pivoting screen was particularly needed as it had to be mounted in the car. A 20 month year was as good as gold in a 4 hour journey. Took it to a restaurant and she watched her Elmo DVD while we relaxed. The waiters said she was the most obedient child they ever had. I bought my first unit primarily because it came with a detachable car mount that also tilts to accommodate the child's size in relation to the height of the headrest installed to adjust. . However, the 4 M4 bolts that came with the headrest bracket were too short to attach (clamp) to my car's headrest bars unless the bars were relatively smaller in diameter.
